Never mind the victim in your head
You’ll be reminded only of drowning
And with a storming sky ahead
The only way to know your fear is breathing
Feel the rain as it’s coming down
Feel the rain as it’s coming down, coming down
I could try to carry you with me
Clutched against my shoulder blade in apathy
But I won’t let weight of doubt won’t break my bones, bear me down
I won’t be a slave to disbelief
I feel the rain as it’s coming down
I feel the rain as it’s coming down, coming down
I feel the rain as it’s coming down, coming down, coming down
Cause’ change won’t wait to be figured out
I feel it, feel it, feel it pouring down
Oh I feel it, feel it, feel it
Oh-whoa
Yeah I feel it, feel it, feel it pouring down
Oh I feel it, feel it, feel it
I feel the rain as it’s coming down
I feel the rain as it’s coming down, coming down
I feel the rain as it’s coming down, coming down, coming down
Cause’ change won’t wait to be figured out
I feel it, feel it, feel it pouring down
Oh I feel it, feel it, feel it
Oh-whoa
Yeah I feel it, feel it, feel it pouring down
Oh I feel it, feel it, feel it

it's such a beautiful album of grieving and loss and acceptance. it speaks to a particular kind of grief -- not a grieving of one who is lost, but the grieving for one who is still present and still causing pain. i love the last song most because while it could end in pain, or end with the narrators decision to permanently push this person out of their life and that would be justified, it doesn't. instead, it offers something. what is offered? acceptance. hope. and a chance for redemption janmisha
